Sheetz Corporate - Claysburg, PA This role qualifies for a remote work arrangement, with the expectation for travel to align to business needs.
Candidates must reside in or relocate to one of the states in our seven-state footprint in OH, MD, VA, NC, WV, MI, and PA.
As a leader on the Human Resources team, this role will have regular in person expectations for meetings with teammates, executives, and Sheetz management in the field.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Lead the operations leadership development team in the design and execution of the operations leadership development strategy intended to build critical skills and ensure leadership effectiveness in newly hired/promoted leaders and create leadership bench strength to fulfill our growth strategy in operations.
Essential Functions:
(other duties may be assigned) Maximize the development of internal talent through regular performance coaching, performance reviews and identification of individual developmental opportunities.
Inspire, engage and motivate teams to create innovative solutions that drive and support the business.
Design, manage, and maintain the operational leadership development strategy through collaboration with Talent and Leadership Development teams that will enhance operational capabilities and grow talent at the pace of operational growth.
Determine and submit annual budget requirements for assigned area of responsibility.
Monitor and manage budget spend to maximize profitability and cost efficiencies.
Ensure the learning impact of the full range of the operations leadership development curriculums to include new-to-role, legacy and high potential leaders.
Develop and maintain an effective business partnership by ensuring senior operations, human resources, and the Talent Development teams are kept abreast of the goals, strategies and projects implemented by the OPS leadership development team.
Approve and oversee the alignment among the Talent Development Region Managers to drive effectiveness and continuity of development solutions, tools, and reporting.
Champion change management initiatives and engage the team to establish tactics, plans, and techniques to support organizational shifts and initiatives.
Develop and support the strategy for increasing team technical bench strength in the leadership development functional area.
Assist with any other talent development initiatives, as needed, including involvement in interview teams, facilitation of learning workshops at events and team or department meetings.
Create and maintain a system for developing, tracking, analyzing and sharing key Leadership Development program metrics with the appropriate leaders across the organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered) Education Bachelors Degree in leadership development, education or related field required Masters Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred Experience Minimum 7 years experience managing leadership development programs and supporting training delivery required Minimum 5 years experience in retail operations required Minimum 5 years supervisory experience required Licenses/Certifications PHR/SPHR or ATD certification preferred Tools & Equipment General Office Equipment ABOUT SHEETZ Sheetz, Inc.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
