Sheetz Corporate - Claysburg, PA This role qualifies for a remote work arrangement, with the expectation for travel to align to business needs.
Candidates must reside in one of the states in our seven-state footprint in OH, MD, VA, NC, WV, MI and PA.
This role will have regular in person expectations for Sheetz events.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Execute the strategy of the internal communications department by providing and/or supporting the delivery of relevant, timely and targeted communications through vehicles that are dedicated to Executive communications (e.
g.
internal and external events, memos, blogs, video scripts, speeches and support of planning session messaging).
Essential Functions:
(other duties may be assigned) Maintain ongoing understanding of Executive & Event goals and Internal Communication messaging priorities.
Deliver timely, targeted, relevant message to support employee engagement.
Support the Event & Executive Communications Strategy Write Draft content including copy, scripts, speeches, memorandums and messaging for a variety of events, presentations and internal communication vehicles.
Often serve as the ghostwriter for Senior Executives, in addition to working with strategic messaging consultants for event scripting.
Support Event planning and execution Event planning participate in event creation, messaging strategy for Sheetz events and Executive presentations.
Attend site visits and onsite rehearsals as required.
Event support and execution - support the delivery of all event content to designated audiences via designated channels, provide support for events both onsite and virtually as required.
Participate in communication planning with the Internal Communications and Events teams.
Engage & Maintain Vehicles Monitor, filter and moderate content to ensure event messaging is timely, relevant and targeted.
REQUIREMENTS:
(Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered) Education Bachelors Degree in Communications, Journalism or related field required Experience 3 years experience in communication responsibilities or related field with at least one year of writing / editing experience required Experience in script writing and/or event production preferred Travel Travel is required and at times on short notice Licenses/Certifications None required Tools & Equipment General Office Equipment ABOUT SHEETZ Sheetz, Inc.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
